Shilongmao Participate in a trade fair/exposition

The 137th China Import and Export Fair, better known as the Canton Fair, commenced on April 15, 2025, in Guangzhou. Co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the People's Government of Guangdong Province, and organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre, this fair serves as a crucial platform for global trade.​

Spanning a vast 1.55 million square meters, the fair features approximately 74,000 booths and around 31,000 participating enterprises. Notably, the number of enterprises in the export exhibition exceeded 30,000 for the first time, an increase of nearly 900 compared to the previous session. The import exhibition showcases around 1,600 booths, with 736 enterprises from 50 countries and regions taking part, maintaining a similar scale to the last event.​

As of April 8, nearly 170,000 overseas buyers from 210 countries and regions had pre-registered. The fair has attracted 223 of the world's top 250 retailers and major merchants from various countries and regions to confirm their participation in groups, a 9.9% increase compared to the previous session. By 17:00 on April 15, a total of 64,530 overseas buyers had attended the fair offline, setting a new high for the same period in history, with an 8.9% year-on-year growth.​

The fair is divided into three phases, each with a distinct theme. Phase one, from April 15 - 19, focuses on "Advanced Manufacturing", displaying a wide range of products such as home appliances, electronic consumer goods, and new energy vehicles. Phase two, from April 23 - 27, centers around "Quality Home", featuring products like daily ceramics, home decorations, and furniture. Phase three, from May 1 - 5, is themed "Good Life", presenting items including toys, clothing, and food.​

One of the highlights of this year's fair is the debut of the Service Robot Zone in phase one. Covering an area of 4,200 square meters, it features 46 companies presenting 184 booths of various service robots for personal, household, and professional use. This addition reflects China's latest advancements in AI and smart manufacturing. Another innovation is the first-ever city food culture section, which enriches the cultural experience at the fair.​

In addition to the diverse exhibits, the 137th Canton Fair also hosts over 1,000 trade promotion activities. These include industry conferences, new product launches, and matchmaking events, aiming to facilitate business cooperation and drive innovation.​

The Canton Fair has long been a barometer of China's foreign trade. This year's event continues to uphold its reputation as a key platform for global trade, bringing together suppliers and buyers from around the world. It not only provides a stage for Chinese enterprises to showcase their products and capabilities but also offers international buyers an opportunity to source high-quality products and explore new business opportunities.
